Join us for an empowering and informative event hosted by the Peachtree City Police Department, featuring Sergeant Courtney Lumpkin. This self-defense demonstration and instruction session is designed exclusively for women, providing essential techniques and strategies to enhance personal safety and confidence.
Sgt. Lumpkin is the Community Outreach Coordinator, a role held for about 1 year and 7 months. Prior to this position, Courtney was a supervisor over the Patrol Division and has been employed with Peachtree City for almost 14 years. Courtney is a general instructor, defensive tactics and use of force instructor, a field training officer, and has experience as an SRT/SWAT operator. Additionally, Courtney currently works as a Surveillance Officer for the DUI/Drug Court. Before joining Peachtree City, Courtney was employed for 3 years with the Geo Group as a Corrections Officer and also worked for about 3 years as a Probation Officer. Courtney holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
At our Connect events, you’ll expand your knowledge and meet other accomplished women in our community. You’ll hear from guest speakers on relevant topics designed to inform and inspire. There will be time to engage with your peers so you can uncover new business connections and opportunities. Together, we will foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
This event is free to attend and will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.*. Please click the ticket link to RSVP, so our venue can plan accordingly.
Join us at 5:00 p.m. for dinner (self-pay), followed by our program, which commences at 6:00 p.m.
