Mission
The Business Women of Fayette and Coweta (BWFC) offers support for women in business by providing empowerment through networking and participation in community outreach.
• Linking with other organizations and members to create worthwhile opportunities to give back for a better community.
• Building awareness of women-owned or lead businesses, both profit and non-profit in Fayette and Coweta counties, Georgia, through our profile-raising activities.
• Providing leadership development and growth for BWFC members.
• Creating innovative and effective change in the business culture.
Meeting And Events
Beginning in January 2022, The BWFC is making some changes to our meeting and event titles! Our Bi-Monthly meetings will now be called The Connects. This will be an opportunity to "connect" with other members, hear speakers relating directly to our business and to have an opportunity to network. These are held on the 4th Tuesday of the even months. The Spotlight - this is where we gather to have one (or more) member's business spotlighted so that we all can learn about their business and how we support them. These are held on the 4th Tuesday of the odd months. The Gatherings - sometimes this will be lunch somewhere, but in 2022 we are planning family gatherings, lady night gatherings and other fun events for our members and guests. Watch for more details on the specifics of these events. .
