Members who have been part of the organization for at least one year are eligible to fill these roles.

The Spring Swing committee provides another avenue for members to enhance their leadership experience. Our Spring Swing Chair or Co-Chairs form a committee of volunteers each year. As there is no minimum membership threshold, we encourage all new and existing members to join the committee.

Jennifer has been a member of the BWFC since 2014. She has held several leadership positions on the board including two President terms for 2019 & 2020. She has been a BWFC Board Advisor since 2021. Jennifer is a certified health coach and a Georgia licensed life and health insurance broker with a certification for Medicare Insurance where she works with Medicare beneficiaries.

Cathy is a Georgia native and has lived in this general area most of her life.

She retired from education with 30+ years as a high school teacher and system level administrator. She served on many boards at the local, state, and national levels and currently serves on the board for Fayette County Retired Educators Association.

She has now embarked on a second career of educating others about how they can improve their health using more natural elements, especially doTerra, the largest essential oil company in the world that is now a wellness company.

Educating others about wellness combines her love of teaching and a newer passion of wellness through natural means.

Cathy loves to travel and she and her husband have visited Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, two trips through the Panama Canal, and too many trips to count to the Caribbean. Most recently, she visited Bulgaria to see the doTerra lavender fields and the distillation process. She was selected by various state and national organizations during her career to visit Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Japan, and Germany.

She earned several degrees at Ga State University, including a PhD.

During her time as a member with BWFC she has assisted with several fund-raisers and appreciates the opportunity to serve the community by raising funds for organizations helping others. She visited with other business networking groups but found a home with BWFC and has gained new friendships with many people she would not have met otherwise. She believes BWFC is truly a service group!

She recently started learning to play Mah Jongg and is a bit obsessed!

A committed community leader, Leigh has volunteered in Fayette County for over a decade. She has served as a Youth Ministry Group Leader at Southside Church and as a Mentor Small Group Leader for Young Life’s special needs’ ministry, demonstrating her ability to build relationships and inspire others. Leigh lives in Peachtree City with her husband Malcolm and their two sons. Her oldest son is in the Air National Guard and attends college in Tennessee, while her youngest is a student at Starr’s Mill High School.

Ellie White-Stevens is the Creative Director of the marketing agency Dirt1x. She has been a member of the BWFC for 15 years and previously served two consecutive terms as President. Ellie also founded and Chaired the BWFC fundraising event O Christmas Tea.

Raissa Chandler is grateful to serve on the BWFC Board. She enjoys the networking and camaraderie of being with a group of women in business who have a heart for serving the community. Her primary job is the caregiver and advocate for two amazing adult twins who have Autism. She finds balance to her caregiving role in the happy vibe of part-time work as a project manager for Dirt1x, a marketing agency, as well as in serving on the BWFC Fundraising Committee and other community projects. She believes that all people with and without disabilities have gifts to bring to better the community and strives to welcome and include all who cross her path.

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and moved to Peachtree City, Georgia, in 2018. I have been married for over two decades. I have two boys, one at Kennesaw State University and one at McIntosh High School. I have been a Business Women of Fayette and Coweta County member since 2019, currently holding the treasurer’s position. I work for ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, a privately owned company in Florida. I am a forecasting analyst and love working with numbers, especially in excel. I am working on my bachelor’s degree in business and project management at Columbia Southern University.


Valerie joined the BWFC in 2019 and has served as Membership Director since 2021. She is also a member of the Spring Swing Committee and has been part of the fundraising committees since 2019.

A Georgia native, Valerie lives in Fayetteville with her husband, daughter, and their dog, Stella. In her downtime, she enjoys gaming, gardening, and building dollhouses.

I’m also the Development Associate at Bloom, the nonprofit foster care agency and support network in Fayetteville. As the Development Associate, I manage all of our large fundraising events and assist in managing our fundraising campaigns, data software, and other “as needed” tasks. I’ve been in the nonprofit sector for about eight years, and I absolutely love combining my passion for service and our community with my passion for strategy and organization.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and my small group at church, especially if we are having game nights (I’m a rock star at Madden NFL), going axe throwing, or exploring the Georgia Aquarium. 

Before becoming a travel agent, Dina worked in the medical education industry for 25 years, traveling and working with top medical and nursing schools across North America. In 2014, Dina took a chance on entrepreneurship and co-founded Blume Organics in Peachtree City, GA. After four years of helping build the Blume brand, she sold her half of the business and opened an office as a Cruise Planners Travel Concierge, a member of the Signature Travel Group.

Her passion for community has led her to work with several local non-profits, including Alternative Ministries, Inc., Pathway Network (Pathway Home for Women), and Business Women of Fayette and Coweta County (BWFC).

Dina is currently serving as Chair of the Board of Advisors for the BWFC, she has also served as a two-term President, Vice President, and Social Media Chair.  She has also served on the 2022 Spring Swing Committee as well as served as Co-Chair for the 2019 O Christmas Tea and the 2023 Spring Swing.

Dina has lived in Senoia for the past 21 years with her husband Buddy. The couple has three grown children, and she is a Mimi to three grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, serving in her church, reading, and spending time with her family.

After relocating from Texas in 2019, she quickly found her way connecting with other business women in the area and decided to join the BWFC where she could also engage in giving back to the community.  Naturally, as an event planner, DeAna was eager to help with the organization’s annual charity gala, so she joined the planning committee where she now serves as Co-Chair for the Spring Swing Gala event.

Carrie has served on the boards of the Women’s Council of Realtors, the Home Builders Association, and Habitat for Humanity.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, serving at her church, entertaining, and home decorating

In 1992, seeking to work from home while raising her young children, Patti founded Bibs Unlimited. She grew this sole proprietorship, operating it from her home with her sewing machine, into a thriving enterprise. Once her four sons were in school, she incorporated her booming business as AJAKO, named after her sons. AJAKO earned the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award in 2010. Patti sold the promotional advertising business in 2016.

With a strong commitment to community, Patti co-founded Business Women of Fayette and Coweta (BWFC) in 2009. This 501(c)(3) supports businesswomen and gives back to the community, having channeled hundreds of thousands of dollars into local initiatives.

Since 2013, Patti has been a certified leadership coach, speaker, and trainer with The John Maxwell Team. She applies her leadership expertise to various endeavors, most notably to Golf Rider, the family business she owns with her husband, Frank, whom she married in 1989. Golf Rider was recognized as the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year in 2019. Patti also actively contributes to her community through the Rotary Club of Peachtree City, the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, and Peachtree City Christian Church.

As past winners of the BWFC Business Woman of the Year award, these members demonstrated exceptional leadership, unwavering integrity, and remarkable congeniality. Furthermore, they were active participants in both the BWFC and the local community throughout the year.
