About Us

The Business Women of Fayette and Coweta was founded by two local businesswomen with a vision to give back to the community. It started with t-shirts and one cause and has grown into the dynamic and strong group it is today.

Meetings and Events

The Connect

The Connect is an opportunity to network and “connect” with other businesswomen over dinner. During the event, guest speakers and thought leaders share their insights on a range of relevant topics. The Connect is held on the 4th Tuesday of the even months of the year.

The Spotlight

The Spotlight is an exclusive opportunity for our members to showcase their business to members, guests, and visitors. The member will host and cater this event at a place of their choosing. The Spotlight occurs on the 4th Tuesday of the odd months of the year.

The Gathering

The Gathering is an opportunity for members and visitors to network over lunch. This event takes place on the 2nd Friday of the odd months of the year.

Member Spotlight

The BWFC is pleased to introduce Diane Mitchell. Diane is an Associate Professional Counselor at Grow Counseling in Peachtree City. Her greatest passion is helping people find balance points, restoring the parts of life that feel most broken. Addressing a wide range of concerns, with clients from all walks of life, ethnicities, sexualities, and spiritual beliefs, Diane provides a safe space to figure out where you want to be regardless of where you are.

In her work, Diane integrates various therapeutic approaches, tailoring sessions to each client’s unique needs and personalities. She provides a collaborative environment dedicated to holistic, trauma-informed care. She uses strength-based approaches and utilizes evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Her specializations include Trauma, EMDR, Anxiety/Depression, Couples, Family of Origin, Attachment, and Life Transitions.

Membership

Membership in the BWFC offers an opportunity to network with like-minded local businesswomen. Our members enhance their professional growth and develop enduring, valuable connections. BWFC members also experience personal growth by serving our community in meaningful ways.
