December 18th Bi-Monthly Meeting – Diabetes Prevention: A Holistic Approach

Join us at our next bi-monthly meeting with Dr. Gina Gonzalez Johnson, D.O. who will speak to us about “Diabetes Prevention : A holistic approach”. Diabetes is one of the causes of heart disease, the leading killer in the United States. The number of diabetics is rising in this country. It is extremely important to address the stages that occur before diabetes development–impaired glucose tolerance and prediabetes. She will discuss the physiology of diabetes and what essentially is causing it’s development. Her intention is to provide patients with the necessary tools to prevent diabetes and if patients are already diabetic, how to get them off of medications and prevent complications...
