Maria Vigil is President and Founder of VProVantage, LLC and the Past-President and former Treasurer of the BWFC. She was selected as the BWFC 2017 Women of the Year. Maria’s experience spans 3 decades where she started her career in employee benefits as an Enrolled Actuary and Pension Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand). She has been a business owner in the financial services industry since 1986 and launched VProVantage in 2004 providing small business accounting and business advisory services throughout the metro Atlanta area. Maria is passionate about small business. She says “It is very fulfilling to see small businesses succeed and the BWFC gives me the opportunity to work with so many great women who are successful and give back to the community.” Maria resides in Decatur with two of her four children and has two grown children who reside in Washington DC and Richmond, Va.
